01What we collect
We collect the basics needed to run an editorial site: server logs, device and browser details, pages visited, referrers, and rough location from IP address.
If you subscribe to the newsletter or write to us, we collect the email address and message details you choose to send.
02Why we collect it
We use reader data to keep the site working, understand which coverage is useful, prevent abuse, and send newsletters people asked to receive.
We do not sell reader data. We do not build user profiles for advertisers.
04Your rights
You can ask what personal data we hold, request a correction, or ask us to delete information we no longer need.
Email privacy@spawningpoint.com and we will respond as quickly as we can, within the time required by law.
05Retention
We keep analytics and server logs only as long as they are useful for security, reporting, and troubleshooting.
Newsletter records stay with our mailing provider until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.
06Contacting us
Privacy questions, data requests, or concerns: privacy@spawningpoint.com.
For editorial corrections, use corrections@spawningpoint.com so the newsroom can handle them directly.
Questions? Write to legal@spawningpoint.com. We answer in plain English wherever the law lets us.
